Terms of Service

CheckMeOut provides people-search reports, public web and social-profile discovery, phone lookup, and AI-assisted summaries for informational purposes only.

The Service may surface public, third-party, generated, inferred, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information. You are responsible for how you interpret and use any report, search result, profile, image, link, or generated summary.

CheckMeOut public people-search reports are not consumer reports and may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenant screening, education, benefits, licensing, security clearance, or any other purpose that requires a consumer report or legally regulated background check.

If a consented background-check flow is available, that flow is separate from public people-search reports and must be used only with the candidate's written consent, a permissible purpose, and all notices, dispute rights, adverse-action steps, and legal requirements that apply to your use case.

You may not use the Service to stalk, harass, intimidate, dox, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, exploit, or harm any person.

You may not use the Service to violate privacy rights, obtain restricted information, bypass platform rules, scrape our systems, reverse engineer the Service, or use automated tools in a way that disrupts or abuses the product.

You are responsible for keeping your account, device, and login access secure. You agree that all activity under your account is your responsibility.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms, creates risk, harms another person, abuses the Service, or exposes CheckMeOut to legal or security risk.

Paid plans, trials, and subscriptions renew according to the price and timing shown at checkout. You may cancel a subscription at any time, and access continues until the end of the then-current billing period unless otherwise stated.

All sales are final. We do not provide refunds, credits, partial-period refunds, prorated credits, or refunds for unused time, inability to find a specific person, report quality, data gaps, product downtime, or technical issues, except where required by law.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting support may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.

Search results, public links, social-profile matches, phone data, web mentions, and AI-generated summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, stale, duplicated, unavailable, or matched to the wrong person.

We may update, change, limit, or remove features and content at any time, including where needed for privacy, security, legal, provider, or product reasons.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckMeOut is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
