We collect search inputs and product activity, including names, phone numbers, handles, report requests, report views, selected onboarding answers, usage events, device data, referral data, and support context.

We collect payment-status and subscription data from payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.

The Service may process public web pages, social-profile links, public records, contact enrichment data, and third-party search-provider results to generate reports.

Reports may include information about people who are not users of CheckMeOut. That information can come from public sources, third-party providers, AI-assisted matching, or user-provided search inputs.

Please do not submit passwords, government identifiers, private credentials, medical records, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive information into searches or support messages.

If a consented background-check flow is available, we collect the candidate details, consent certification, provider status, and provider identifiers needed to request and track that background check with a consumer reporting agency partner.

We may review, process, retain, restrict, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the Service, enforce our terms, comply with law, prevent abuse, protect privacy and security, or protect the safety and integrity of CheckMeOut, our users, or others.

We use data to provide search results and reports, personalize product flows, process payments, link paid access, prevent abuse, debug issues, measure performance, improve quality, and send service-related messages.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve product reliability, search quality, prompts, matching, and safety systems.

We share data with vendors that help us provide the Service, including hosting, analytics, authentication, payment processing, search, enrichment, AI generation, storage, and customer support providers.

For consented background checks, we share candidate and request data with the selected background-check provider so they can operate the candidate consent, report, dispute, and compliance process.

We may also disclose data when required by law or when necessary to protect the rights, privacy, safety, security, and integrity of CheckMeOut, our users, or others.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, billing, dispute, or operational reasons.

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk, but no transmission or storage system is perfectly secure.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute, or security reasons.

You can cancel a subscription from your profile. Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or reports.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
